Established in 2003, Aberdeen Renewable Energy Group (AREG) is the original energy transition organisation, supporting a diverse supply chain to access opportunities that drive the development and use of renewable energy across Scotland and beyond. AREG plays a leading role in advancing the energy transition by connecting supply chain companies with developers and project owners, sharing insights on new markets, policy developments, and funding opportunities, and fostering collaboration across our community of more than 260 members. We champion our members and the wider renewable energy sector by creating platforms that enable visibility, partnership, and growth. Through close collaboration with industry, government, and key stakeholders, AREG is helping to unlock opportunities that strengthen the Scottish supply chain and accelerate the move towards a low-carbon energy future.
Forth Valley College
We are one of Scotland’s leading providers of education and training delivering more than 750 courses from our main campuses in Alloa, Falkirk and Stirling. We offer a vibrant student community and high quality learning experiences. Our courses and training opportunities are designed to help our students realise their potential and develop the skills that employers need. Over 97% of our students progress to further study or employment.
Scottish National Investment Bank
The Bank was launched in November 2020 as a development bank for Scotland, delivering mission impact investment to the Scottish economy. We provide patient capital to businesses and projects throughout Scotland to support the development of a fairer, more sustainable economy.
ECITB
The Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB) is the employer-led skills body for the engineering construction industry in Great Britain. We invest more than £20 million every year to enhance skills across the industry, supporting growth through workforce training and helping to tackle labour shortages and skills gaps.
