CancerCare North Lancashire & South Cumbria is a local, independent charity that provides counselling and complementary therapies to adults and children affected by cancer, life-shortening illnesses and bereavement. For over 40 years, we have supported thousands of local people through some of the most challenging times of their lives.
At CancerCare, we understand that cancer impacts not only the person receiving the diagnosis but also those around them. We have four dedicated centres across the region in Lancaster, Barrow, Kendal, and Morecambe, and our therapies are delivered by qualified, experienced professionals.
While our services are free to our clients, they are not free to run. It costs approximately £2 million each year to keep our doors open.
