Derwent Training is an Independent Training Provider established in 1988. We deliver Apprenticeships in Engineering and Leadership & Management and have a purpose-built training centre in Malton, North Yorkshire. We work with employers across North Yorkshire. Employer satisfaction is 95% and achievement is 78.5%, well above the national average.

The York and North Yorkshire Made Smarter programme in its 3rd and final year, is part of a national industry 4.0 programme to improve digital transformation within the Manufacture and Food/Drink sectors. The Apprenticeship Ambassador Network inspires and influences people to choose apprenticeships as a route to create business and individual success. Apprenticeship Ambassadors are all employers who have recruited apprentices as part of their workforce. They are passionate about their experiences with apprentices and are keen to promote the apprenticeship route to other employers and potential new apprentices.
