The Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority Employment and Skills Team provides funded support to organisations across the region to address workforce challenges, create quality employment opportunities, and drive business growth through recruitment, retention, and workforce development.

We support organisations to access apprenticeships, identify suitable providers, navigate standards and processes, access levy funding, and available grants. Including Apprenticeship Age Grants of up to £4,000 for local SMEs recruiting apprentices aged 16–24, in addition to government funding.

In memory of our late colleague Howard Cordingly, whose contribution and dedication to apprenticeships was significant, we remain committed to continuing his legacy, by supporting employers and individuals to access apprenticeships, develop skills, and achieve potential.
