York Health Economics Consortium (YHEC) is a health economics consulting company owned by the University of York. It provides a range of services to help clients demonstrate the value of health innovation, including economic modelling, literature searching, evidence reviews, network meta-analyses, patient-reported outcomes, service review and applied research and training to the NHS and the pharmaceutical and health care industries. Clients include MedTech and digital health companies, NHS England, the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), NHS trusts and large multi-national pharmaceutical, device and nutrition companies. YHEC combines rigorous research standards with efficient project delivery.
The Huddersfield Health Innovation Partnership is a collaboration between the University of Huddersfield, 3M Buckley Innovation Centre, Business Kirklees, the NHS and other local and regional health and wellbeing innovation partners. Dedicated to driving health innovation across West Yorkshire, it offers business support initiatives, industry-related events and workshops, mentoring and grants to support innovation and growth, access to academic and NHS networks via its Health Innovation Network, as well as links to the University of Huddersfield’s new National Health Innovation Campus. The project is part-funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
Health Innovation Yorkshire & Humber is one of 15 health innovation networks set up by NHS England to operate as the innovation arm of the NHS.
