Following the success of our awards in 2023, the Derry Journal People of the Year Awards are back, with 14 categories to recognise our unsung community heroes and share their inspirational and uplifting stories.

Anyone can enter or submit a nomination/entry, regardless of whether you are the nominee themselves, a member of their family, a friend, a colleague or a member of the public.

By getting involved, you will boost community morale and raise awareness for many worthwhile causes.

Individuals and/or organisations living or working within the Derry Journal reach and Derry City & Strabane District areas are eligible to enter or be entered.

Nominations close on May 17, 2024 12:00 pm and winners will be announced at our special ceremony on June 20, 2024.
